Pics of the nursery

Isaiah Peterson (born last month - see post from May 30th) and his Mom and Dad (Elizabeth and my brother Joel) are soon to be back from Africa. They will live with us for a while! Woohoo! Isaiah will get to use his soon to be cousin's (Micah) nursery! So here are pics of the nursery!

Anyone know how to get replacement cushions for my glider? I don't like the color.
BUT, I loooove my rocking giraffe!! Took two trips to World Market to find they were all sold out, then a waiting list and call - I jumped in my car as soon as I heard they were holding one for me! The things we'll do for the first time baby items!

Hey Julia,
I inherited a glider too with cushions I don't like (actually... I think they're the same color as the ones you have!) and plan to recover them with fabric. I'm not a sewer but have a mother-in-law willing to make them. :) Maybe you can find a handy-dandy friend!

Julia,

I was able to make slipcovers for some glider cushions when I had Deacon. It wasn't too hard if you follow what is already there. Lay the fabric out and put the cushion on it. Be sure to allow for depth of the cushion and for a seam. Then, just cut and sew. Leave the bottom open (or install a zipper if you have help) and you're ready to insert it and sew it up (or zip it up).

Find a friend with a sewing machine and you're good to go. You can do it!

The bedding is adorable. Your child will LOVE the bouncy seat. We have an identical one that my now 3 year old bio son used enjoyed more than any toy. Thank you for sharing!
